It is with heavy heart to announce the passing of Firefighter/EMT Francisco J. Figueroa at the early age of 28. He has proudly served Hardee County Fire Rescue for nearly two years, and he has also protected us all with his active service in the Marine Corps Reserve. Francisco has departed us today due to a tragic motor vehicle crash, but his memory will continue to live on through each of us. Please remember and honor our brother during the grieving process, but continue to remember our brother through his selfless actions. You are a Marine, a Firefighter/EMT, and a brother in arms who will be missed by us all. It is and will always be an honor to know you, and to remember you as a brother and as a friend. May you continue watching over us as we continue to serve the citizens of Hardee County.
